According to IndyStar.com, thirty years ago this week, former champion gymnast Ron Galimore was among the 1980 Forgotten Summer Olympians along with hundreds of other athlete as President Jimmy Carter had chosen to boycott the 1980 Moscow Games as a response to the Russian incursion into Afghanistan.
